A High-Level Interactive Dialogue of the 67th session of the UNGA will also be convened in New York on 22 March to mark the 2013 International Year of Water Cooperation and the twentieth anniversary of the proclamation of World Water Day. Read more >

Featured Initiatives

In every newsletter, we would like to highlight at least one initiative aimed at raising awareness on water issues for World Water Day and the International Year of Water Cooperation. For this edition, we present Walking for Water and the World Water Day Kids Forum.

Walking for Water 2013
more than 33.000 kids

'Letters for Water' and the World Water Day Kids Summit
22 March in Osaka, Japan

In 2013, this educative forum will look at "What can we do to conserve and better share water?" and will be held in Osaka. The winners of the "Letters for Water" initiative on water cooperation will be awarded at the Summit, letting us discover stories of what children think about water today. Read more >
